h.Q.l'T)' <br />.a Cl , <br />2015 STRATEGIC PLAN <br />Introduction <br />City leaders in Saint Anthony Village <br />conducted a Strategic Planning & Goal Setting <br />Workshop on January 15 and 16, 2015. <br />Participants included: <br />Mayor Jerry Faust <br />Councilmember Hal Gray <br />Councilmember Jan Jenson <br />Councilmember Randy Stille <br />City Manager Mark Casey <br />City Clerk Barb Suciu <br />Finance Director Shelly Rueckert <br />Fire Chief Mark Sitarz <br />Liquor Operat ions Manager Mike Larson <br />Police Chief John Ohl <br />Public Works Director Jay Hartman <br />Planning Commissioner Erica Crone <br />Parks Commissioner Erin Jordahl-Redlin <br />City Engineer Todd Hubmer <br />City Planner Kelsey Johnson <br />Human Resources Charlie Yunker <br />Finance Consultant Stacie Kvilvang <br />City Attorney Jay Lindgren <br />Also, in attendance were Claudia Hoffacker, <br />from the League of Minnesota Cities and Liza <br />Donabauer, City Administrator for the City of <br />Arlington . <br />The City of Saint Anthony is widely respected <br />as a cohesive group that works well together <br />as a team, shares mutual respect, and <br />understands roles and responsibilities. The <br />City Council and staff share a great sense of <br />pride in working together for the best <br />interests of the citizens of the community. <br />The work sessions are recognized for positive, <br />healthy and productive discussions. Each <br />individual opinion is respected and all ideas <br />are welcome. This is an important priority and <br />post session feedback reinforced this outcome <br />for the discussions that took place. <br />During the Thursday morning session each year, <br />relevant topics are introduced and presented . <br />Noteworthy in 2015 was : Being in the Moment <br />and Creating a Vibrant Culture. These topics <br />served to set the stage for great participation <br />from all attendees and appreciating the values <br />and culture that thrives within the City . <br />Work Session Goals and Expectations <br />• Learning, sharing and growing <br />• Build the 2015 Pyramid <br />• Introduce new ideas <br />• Retain culture of speaking honestly <br />• Continue to strengthen the team <br />201 5 Session Theme <br />The session theme for 2015 was : <br />"Others have seen what is and asked why.
