- 6 - <br /> Visioning: St. Anthony Village 2013 <br /> <br />A process of imaging what the future City of St. Anthony would be in 2013 was done in <br />small groups. The group assignment was to describe St. Anthony Village as if it was the <br />year 2013 and the City had reached an ideal state. The small groups were asked to describe <br />what they saw when they imagined the accomplishments that brought them to 2013. <br /> <br /> St. Anthony is a model of fiscal and environmental responsibility <br /> St. Anthony has a strong School District that has threats addressed <br /> The City Staff can measure services as viewed by the customer (residents) <br /> There is a gateway to the City that is completed (Silver Lake Road) <br />o People are using sidewalks with park benches <br />o St. Anthony Shopping Center is well on its way to completion <br />o North Side Redevelopment is Complete along with Silverwood Park <br /> Fiber Optics is provided to each home by the City (It is underground and supplying <br />VIOP, TV, and Internet) <br /> Industrial Areas are Revitalized <br /> A variety of Senior Services are provided such as home nursing, housing <br />maintenance assistance, and transportation <br /> Silver Lake is Swim-able and Fishable <br /> City has committed to an ongoing stable infrastructure <br /> There is a Veterans Memorial on Silver Lake Road <br /> The Manufactured Home Park is Clean and Redeveloped <br /> The City has a Strong Housing Code <br /> St. Anthony is seen as a destination City
