Fire Department <br />By Fire Chief Mark Sitarz <br />The St. Anthony Fire Department is a combination paid on-call and full-time department <br />working out of one station. To provide an immediate response, 24-hours a day, the department <br />is made up of seven full-time personnel and 23 paid on-call personnel. The Fire Department <br />provides fire suppression, emergency response at the EMT level and hazardous materials <br />response at the operations level. The Fire Department also provides code inspection and <br />enforcement, fire prevention and education, administers the City’s disaster response programs <br />and the City Code Enforcement program. <br />Fire Department apparatus consist of two 1250 GPM pumpers, a 1500 pumper, a step van, a <br />rescue response truck and a staff automobile for administrative response use. Specialized <br />equipment includes automatic defibrillators, Lucas 2 device, hydraulic rescue tools (jaws of life) <br />and a mobile air cascade system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
