<br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 18-029 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST TO KEEP FOUR (4) CHICKENS IN AN R-1 <br />ZONING DISTRICT AT 2513 30TH AVENUE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff received a request from Rick Dallmeyer for permission to keep <br />chickens on their property located at 2513 30th Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, Section 91.56, Keeping of <br />Certain Animals, specifies that livestock, including fowl, require approval from the City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Rick Dallmeyer have submitted a written request for approval from the <br />City Council, as outlined in Subsection 91.56, to approve their request to keep chickens; and <br />WHEREAS, Rick Dallmeyer have submitted a diagram showing the dimensions and <br />placement of the enclosure that will house the chickens in relation to their property; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County Environmental Health Division has stated that this matter <br />is within the City’s jurisdiction and authority; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village approves the request to keep four (4) chickens in an R-1 Zoning District at 2513 <br />30th Avenue. <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day March, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> _____________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
