3301 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, Minnesota 55418‐1699 www.savmn.com (612) 782‐3301 Fax (612) 782‐3302
Our mission is to be a progressive and livable community, a walkable village which is sustainable, safe and secure.

MEMO

TO: Mayor & City Council, City Manager
FROM: Shelly Rueckert, Finance Director
DATE: March 22, 2018
RE: Supplemental information to 2019 Feasibility study
Below are the bullet points describing the 2018 project costs bonded and the Street construction
options modeled for the 2019 Peak to Plateau program
• The 2018 street project’s overall cost of $2,804,500 was presented by WSB to the Council on
2/13/2018. The 2018 project costs bonded will be in the amount of $2,638,200. See table below for
details:

*Estimated additional cost to re‐route stormwater to Mirror Lake, per RCWS permitting requirements.
• Using the information provided in the WSB 2019 Feasibility study the following 2019‐2020
project combinations were modeled for the Peak to Plateau program. I have assumed the unknown trail
cost at 450k for modeling purposes.
1. No change in planned street construction and no addition for Stormwater and Trail projects
2. Assumes ‐2019 project as Stormwater/Trails or Croft & 32nd (each @1.4m). The 2020
project is dependent on 2019 actual. Therefore it could be either the original Skycroft
project or Stormwater/Trails & Skycroft and remaining Croft Drive (each @ 2.5M)
3. Assumes – Scenarios above are reversed.
Attachments: Three Peak to Plateau models using assumptions above.
2018 Overall project cost presented 2,804,500$
Less Splash Pad reuse ( Water Fund ) (198,400.00)
Less ML Drainage ( Stormwater Fund ) (33,800.00)
Plus Additional stormwater cost * 65,900.00
2018 Project cost bonded 2,638,200$
