<br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 18-034 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST TO KEEP FOUR (4) CHICKENS IN AN R-1 <br />ZONING DISTRICT AT 3600 COOLIDGE ST NE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff received a request from Kevin and Kara Coppinger for permission to <br />keep chickens on their property located at 3600 Coolidge St NE; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, Section 91.56, Keeping of <br />Certain Animals, specifies that livestock, including fowl, require approval from the City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Kevin and Kara Coppinger have submitted a written request for approval <br />from the City Council, as outlined in Subsection 91.56, to approve their request to keep chickens; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Kevin and Kara Coppinger have submitted a diagram showing the <br />dimensions and placement of the enclosure that will house the chickens in relation to their <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County Environmental Health Division has stated that this matter <br />is within the City’s jurisdiction and authority; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village approves the request to keep four (4) chickens in an R-1 Zoning District at 3600 <br />Coolidge St NE. <br /> <br />Adopted this 10th day of April, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
