ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />APRIL 10, 2018 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Randle and Stille. 15 <br />Absent: 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Assistant to the City Manager Charlie Yunker, Fire Chief 17 <br />Mark Sitarz, Planning Commissioner Jedd Larson, and Public Works Director Jay 18 <br />Hartman. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 22 <br />ITEMS. 23 <br /> 24 <br />I. APPROVAL OF APRIL 10, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve the City 27 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of April 10, 2018 as presented. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 30 <br /> 31 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 32 <br /> 33 <br />A. Spirit of St. Anthony Award 34 <br /> 35 <br />Assistant to the City Manager Charlie Yunker presented the 2017 Spirit of St. Anthony Award to 36 <br />Sandy Simon. Ms. Simon made a few comments and noted she is honored to work for the City. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Faust noted this is a peer driven award. He commended Ms. Simon on her 20 years of 39 <br />service to the City. 40 <br /> 41 <br />B. 40 Years of City Employment for Jay Olson 42 <br /> 43 <br />Fire Chief Mark Sitarz congratulated Assistant Fire Chief Jay Olson on his 40 years with the City 44 <br />of St. Anthony. Fire Chief Sitarz provided background information on Assistant Fire Chief Jay 45 <br />Olson. Assistant Fire Chief Olson made some comments. 46 <br /> 47 <br />Mayor Faust also congratulated Assistant Fire Chief Olson on 40 years with the City. 48 <br /> 49 <br />3
