CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 18-037 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST TO TEMPORARILY GRAZE GOATS FOR <br />4-14 DAYS IN AN R-1 ZONING DISTRICT AT 3312 SILVER LAKE RD NE <br />WHEREAS, staff received a request from Lona Doolan on behalf of Nativity Lutheran <br />Church for permission to temporarily graze goats for 4-14 days on the Nativity Lutheran Church <br />property located at 3312 Silver Lake Rd NE; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, Section 91.56, Keeping of <br />Certain Animals, specifies that livestock, including fowl, require approval from the City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Lona Doolan has submitted a request for approval from the City Council, <br />as outlined in Subsection 91.56, to approve their request to temporarily graze goats; and <br />WHEREAS, Lona Doolan has submitted an overview of the grazing process indicating <br />that the goats will be fenced in on the property and graze for 4-14 days; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County Environmental Health Division has stated that this matter <br />is within the City’s jurisdiction and authority; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village approves the request to temporarily graze goats for 4-14 days in an R-1 Zoning <br />District at 3312 Silver Lake Rd NE. <br />Adopted this 24th day of April, 2018. <br />_________________________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
