PUBLIC HEARINGS – NONE. 10 <br /> 11 <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. 12 <br /> 13 <br />A. 2018 Planning Commission Work Plan. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Planning Commission Chair Dominic Papatola reviewed the St. Anthony Village Planning 16 <br />Commission 2018 Work Plan and some of the 2017 accomplishments of the Planning 17 <br />Commission. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the St. Anthony 20 <br />Village Planning Commission 2018 Work Plan. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Motion Carried 5-0. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Faust encouraged the new Park Commissioners to attend the GTS Training that is offered. 25 <br /> 26 <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. 27 <br /> 28 <br />A. Resolution 18-036; a Resolution Authorizing Issuance, Awarding Sale, Prescribing The 29 <br />Form and Details and Providing for the Payment of $2,610,000 General Obligation 30 <br />Bonds, Series 2018A. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Mr. James Lehnhoff, Ehlers & Associates, reviewed the process for the issuance of the General 33 <br />Obligation Bonds to fund the street improvements. It was noted the amount of the bonds is 34 <br />reduced to $2,610,000. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Councilmember Stille asked what the rate was last year and Mr. Lehnhoff stated the rate in 2017 37 <br />was at 2.58%. Councilmember Stille mentioned this is a tax exempt rate. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution 40 <br />18-036; a Resolution Authorizing Issuance, Awarding Sale, Prescribing the Form and Details 41 <br />and Providing for the Payment of $2,610,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series 2018A. The sale 42 <br />goes to FTN Financial Capital Markets. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Motion Carried 5-0. 45 <br /> 46 <br />4
