CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 18 -043 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST TO KEEP FOUR (4) FEMALE CHICKENS <br />IN AN R -1 ZONING DISTRICT AT 3609 33RD AVE NE <br />WHEREAS, staff received a request from Paige Buck for permission to keep chickens <br />on their property located at 3609 33rd Ave NE; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, Section 91.56, Keeping of <br />Certain Animals, specifies that livestock, including fowl, require approval from the City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Paige Buck has submitted a written request for approval from the City <br />Council, as outlined in Subsection 91.56, to approve their request to keep chickens; and <br />WHEREAS, Paige Buck has submitted a geographical description of the placement of <br />the enclosure that will house the chickens in relation to their property; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County Environmental Health Division has stated that this matter <br />is within the City's jurisdiction and authority; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village approves the request to keep four (4) female chickens in an R -1 Zoning District <br />at 3609 33`d Ave NE. <br />APPROVED in the regular session of the City o ncil on <br />M 22, 201 <br />8. �� <br />—SP— <br />,J <br />ATTEST: � erome O.
