CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 18-058 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PROPOSED 2019 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2019 certified property tax levy and operating budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council discussed Debt Levy planning at the March 26th and August 20th work sessions and a public meeting was held on May 8th reviewing key financial issues and budgeting goals which invited public input on the budget process; and WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $510,067 based on sufficient funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2019 property tax levy and general operation budget at the August 28, 2018, City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, the preliminary tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current law is modified; and WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a final property tax levy and budget at the Tuesday, December 11, 2018, public hearing held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1) The proposed 2019 Property Tax Levy is: General Operating Levy $4,324,113 Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 258,200 Road Improvement Levy $1,914,886 Lease Revenue Bonds $ 343,347 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 170,254 Tax Abatement Levy $ 222,653 Building Improvement Levy $ 78,000 $7,311,453 2) The proposed 2019 General Operating Budget totals $7,206,490 Adopted this 11th day of September, 2018. _________________________________ Jerome O.
