CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 18 -058 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PROPOSED 2019 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL OPERATING <br />BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and <br />Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2019 certified property tax levy and operating budget; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed Debt Levy planning at the March 26th and August 2011 work <br />sessions and a public meeting was held on May 8th reviewing key financial issues and <br />budgeting goals which invited public input on the budget process; and <br />WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $510,067 based on sufficient funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2019 property tax levy and general <br />operation budget at the August 28, 2018, City Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the preliminary tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current <br />law is modified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a final property tax levy and budget at the <br />Tuesday, December 11, 2018, public hearing held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The proposed 2019 Property Tax Levy is: <br />General Operating Levy <br />$4,324,113 <br />Capital Improvement Project Levy <br />$ 258,200 <br />Road Improvement Levy <br />$1,914,886 <br />Lease Revenue Bonds <br />$ 343,347 <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy <br />$ 170,254 <br />Tax Abatement Levy <br />$ 222,653 <br />Building Improvement Levy <br />78,000 <br />$7,311,453 <br />2) The proposed 2019 General Operating Budget totals $7,206,490 <br />Adopted this 11 m day of SSe tember, 2018. <br />'" Jerome O.
