<br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 18-064 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE HIGH SCHOOL’S VOTER <br />REGISTRATION DAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2018 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony Village supports Civic Engagement across all communities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony Village actively promotes youth involvement in government by holding <br />an annual Students in Government Day and Appointing Student Liaisons to the Parks and <br />Planning Commissions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, St. Anthony Middle School students created CHANGE (Children Have A No Guns Expectation), <br />a grassroots campaign, to ensure all students have a voice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CHANGE will be holding a Voter Registration Day on September 25, 2018 at St. Anthony <br />Village High School to help all eligible voters register to vote. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, St. Anthony City Staff will assist CHANGE in helping people register to vote. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony supports CHANGE and their Voter <br />Registration Day. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of September, 2018. <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
