City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />October 9, 2018 <br />Page 3 <br />2 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />3 18 -069; a Resolution Certifying Special Assessments for Delinquent Waste Hauler Accounts to <br />4 the 2019 Ramsey County Tax Rolls. <br />6 Motion carried 4 -0. <br />7 <br />8 E. Quarterly Goals Update. <br />9 <br />10 City Manager Casey provided the City Council with a quarterly update on the sixty actions steps <br />11 created as a result of the annual strategic planning session. He provided detail on a number of the <br />12 actions. <br />13 <br />14 Councilmember Stille stated a lot more things other than on the list, are done on a daily basis. He <br />15 saw the new fire truck and it is very impressive. <br />16 <br />17 Councilmember Jenson highlighted out of the 60 goals, there are 60 measurable items that are in <br />18 process. <br />19 <br />20 Mayor Faust noted house checks for residents out of town is a big deal and an added service to <br />21 the residents. <br />22 <br />23 VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />24 <br />25 City Manager Casey stated the newsletter is mailed and available on -line. City Manager Casey <br />26 thanked the fire department for their work on the Open House. <br />27 <br />28 Councilmember Jenson stated on October 1, he attended the work session to review the traffic <br />29 study presented by the City Engineer and the capital budget was reviewed. On October 3, he <br />30 attended the respectful workforce training. <br />31 <br />32 Councilmember Stille also attended the October 1 work session. He noted the school zone speed <br />33 is being decreased. He also attended the respectful workforce training on October 3, which was <br />34 also for all City Staff. <br />35 <br />36 Councilmember Randle also attended the October 1 and October 3 sessions. <br />37 <br />38 Mayor Faust stated on September 26, he attended the Minnesota Municipal Beverage <br />39 Association with the Liquor Operations Manager. Mayor Faust also attended the October 1 and 3 <br />40 work sessions. He attended the Open House on October 6 and thanked Walter's for participating <br />41 and City Staff for the Big Rig event. <br />42 <br />43 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />44 <br />45 No one appeared to address the Council. <br />46 <br />
