APPENDIX B <br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />ENTRY LEVEL <br />Minimum Requirements: <br />- High School diploma, GED or equivalent <br />- Valid Minnesota Class C Driver's License <br />- Valid Minnesota Class B and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of the <br />date of hire <br />- Ability to meet a minimum score of 70 percent on a mechanical aptitude test <br />- Successful completion of City's physical examination including drug testing, if required <br />- Ability to read, understand and follow written oral instructions including safety rules <br />- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, <br />climbing, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling <br />- Ability to perform job responsibilities in climactic extremes <br />- Demonstration of ability to operate City -owned equipment <br />- Ability to perform routine repair and maintenance tasks in the following areas: <br />Streets /storm sewer <br />Parks /forestry <br />Water /sewer <br />Building /equipment <br />STEP A <br />Minimum Requirements: <br />Meets or exceeds all the minimum requirements of Public Works Maintenance II - Entry <br />Level <br />Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Maintenance II - Entry Level <br />Ability to perform the following tasks: <br />Basic asphalt patching skills <br />Basic concrete repair <br />Vehicle /equipment routine maintenance <br />Basic custodial skills <br />14 <br />
