<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />   <br />  <br />Meeting Date: November 27, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br /> Resolution- a resolution Designating Polling Places for the 2019 Election Year. <br /> <br />OVERVIEW: <br />In from of you this evening is a resolution to designate our polling places for 2019 election year. The <br />council previously adopted this resolution in October, however our long standing Ramsey County precinct, <br />Chandler Place has decided they no longer wish to be a polling location. <br /> <br />We are fortunate that the management of The Legends in Silver Lake Village, located in Ramsey County, <br />had previously contacted us expressing their interest in becoming a polling location. <br /> <br />Ramsey County Elections and our City Clerk have toured The Legends and have determined it meets all the <br />requirements to be designated a polling place. <br /> <br />Once this resolution is approved staff will work with Ramsey County Elections to notify the affected voters <br />of the polling location change.
