<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />   <br />  <br />Meeting Date: November 27, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br /> Resolution- a resolution accepting the 27th Avenue/Pahl Avenue Neighborhood Traffic Study and <br />Adopting the Traffic Device Installation Policy. <br /> <br /> <br />OVERVIEW: <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution accepting the 27th Avenue/Pahl Avenue Neighborhood Traffic <br />Study and Adopting the Traffic Device Installation Policy. <br /> <br />At the April 24, 2018 City Council meeting, Council authorized WSB to conduct a traffic study on 27th <br />Avenue and Pahl Avenue. <br /> <br />On July 16, 2018 a public information meeting was held at City Hall. At the public information meeting, it <br />was requested to extend the study to include the alley during school hours. <br /> <br />At the October 1, 2018 City Council Work Session, a draft of the study was presented to the City Council, <br />and subsequently the Council directed staff to bring forward the study to a future City Council meeting, <br />along with a policy for driver feedback signs installation. <br /> <br />Within the Traffic Device Installation Policy, is our Intersection Control Policy that was previously <br />approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />New items added to the Traffic Device Installation Policy include: Driver Feedback Sign Installation <br />Policy, and Speed Limit Determination, which provides information taken from the Minnesota Manual on <br />Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MnMUTCD) guidelines. <br /> <br />Attached is the 27th Avenue/Pahl Avenue Traffic Study and Traffic Device Installation Policy. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
