CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 18-082 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE FINAL 2019 TAX LEVY AND ADOPTING THE 2019 BUDGET DOCUMENT FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a final 2019 certified property tax levy and WHEREAS, the City Council discussed key financial issues and budgeting goals at the January 2018, goal setting session, held a public meeting on May 8th for input on the budget process, reviewed the 2019 Road Improvement and Debt Levy planning at the March 26th and August 20th work sessions, public meetings were held August 28th and September 12th for public input on the 2019 budget and property tax levy, the 2019-2035 Capital improvement Budgets were reviewed at the October 30th work session, WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $510,067 based on sufficient funds; and WHEREAS, The City Council held the required Truth in Taxation meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers, to discuss the 2019 budget and property tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony Village; and WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to determine a Final 2019 property tax levy has been collected NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1) The Final 2019 Property Tax Levy is: General Operating Levy $4,324,113 Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 258,200 Road Improvement Levy $1,914,886 Lease Revenue Bonds $ 343,347 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 170,254 Tax Abatement Levy $ 222,653 Building Improvement Levy $ 78,000 Total $7,311,453 2) The budgets included in the 2019 Budget document will be adopted as the final fund budgets.
