Mayor Faust & City Council c/o Mark Casey, City Manager,

As co-leader of the Voyagers, a SAV-based service organization of fathers and their K-5 aged
children, we are requesting:
Use of Central Park Pavilion on Saturday, March 2nd from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Approval of temporary liquor license (VillageFest being applicant) in the Central Park
Pavilion on March 2nd from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
With your approval of the above, the Voyagers will be hosting the 1st Annual Village WinterFest
on March 2nd in conjunction with VillageFest.

The purpose of this is to create a free, fun winter-themed event for the entire community/public,
and also raise awareness and funds for Nourish 282 and VillageFest. The event will run from 11-
4 on Saturday, March 2nd, and feature family-friendly events organized by the Voyagers and
Fitness Crossroad. Activities will include a bean bag boss golf tournament, candy scramble, and
a medallion hunt. Two food trucks will be on site, and the experienced VillageFest team will be
selling hot kid & adult beverages as well as selling beer & wine. We've attached a rendering to
illustrate how the VillegeFest team will control the sale of alcoholic beverages from the inside of
the Pavilion.
Proceeds will support VillageFest & Nourish 282's mission to support food insecure families in
the SANB school district.
39
