Educate city and school land managers about pesticide drift and watershed
contamination
4. Look at new ways to manage ball fields and parks
5. Change our roadside mowing policies to avoid critical flowering periods
6. Integrate pollinator protection policies in street replacement projects
7. Ask residents to include native plants in garden selections
8. Educate residents about prohibited chemicals and safer alternatives
9. Ask local landscape businesses to make public their policies and practices
Reducing the chemicals we use on parks and fields improves the health of our children
and pets, removes pollutants from the watershed, and saves money spent on land
management.
8 2/20/2019 Increasing Biodiversity
Reconciliation Ecology –Increasing Biodiversity
Specific actions we can take in St. Anthony:
1.
