<br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 19-025 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A REQUEST TO KEEP FOUR (4) FEMALE CHICKENS <br />IN AN R-1 ZONING DISTRICT AT 3001 SILVER LAKE ROAD NE <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff received a request from Farrokh and Linda Sadaghyani for <br />permission to keep chickens on their property located at 3001 Silver Lake Road NE; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Code of Ordinances, Section 91.56, Keeping of <br />Certain Animals, specifies that livestock, including fowl, require approval from the City Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Farrokh and Linda Sadaghyani has submitted a written request for approval <br />from the City Council, as outlined in Subsection 91.56, to approve their request to keep chickens; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Farrokh and Linda Sadaghyani has submitted a geographical description of <br />the placement of the enclosure that will house the chickens in relation to their property; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County Environmental Health Division has stated that this matter <br />is within the City’s jurisdiction and authority; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. <br />Anthony Village approves the request to keep four (4) female chickens in an R-1 Zoning District <br />at 3001 Silver Lake Road NE. <br /> <br />APPROVED in the regular session of the City Council on March 26, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />_________________________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
