2018 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />CITY BUILDINGS DIVISION <br />The City Buildings Division provides the necessary maintenance and repair to all the City’s <br />buildings. In 2018, projects included: <br /> City-owned building lighting upgrades: Silver <br />Lake Village liquor store received LED lighting <br />upgrades to the main floor; Water Treatment Plant; <br />Wells 3, 4, and 5. <br /> Applied for and received energy rebates for VFD <br />upgrades at all public buildings from Xcel Energy. <br /> Installed new roof and carpet at the Central Park <br />Pavilion. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PROJECTS <br />Throughout the year, the Public Works Department, <br />which included Engineering, aids in numerous projects <br />across the community. In 2018, the Public Works <br />Department completed the following projects: <br /> 2018 Tennis Court Surface Rehabilitation <br /> Citywide Building Maintenance <br /> Annual City-Wide Clean Up Day <br /> Annual Branch Chipping Program <br /> 2018 Capital Equipment Purchases <br /> CP Holiday Train with the City of Columbia Heights <br /> Annual Employee Training to include: <br />First Aid and CPR, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, <br />Trenching & Excavation Safety, Hearing Loss Conservation, and MS4 Program <br />Staff Training <br /> <br />
