2018 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />V. 2018 PARKS COMMISSION <br />The Parks Commission consists of five members appointed by City Council. Terms are for three <br />years with appointments made in January. In 2018, the Parks Commission consisted of the <br />following members <br />Scott Bentz-Chairperson <br /> Erin Jordahl Redlin-Vice Chairperson <br /> Therese Bellinger <br /> Sarah Ksiazek <br /> Marnie Overman <br />In addition to these members, there are two additional representatives; one from the St. <br />Anthony New-Brighton School District and one Student Liaison. <br /> <br /> <br />In 2018, the Parks Commission adopted the <br />Parks Commission Work Plan. The Work Plan <br />is a schedule of objectives established by the <br />Parks Commission and City Council which <br />provides an efficient method of prioritizing and <br />achieving the most important goals as <br />identified by the Parks Commission and City <br />Council to work on during 2018. <br /> Review and making <br />recommendations on parks, trails, <br />and open green space. <br /> Review and making <br />recommendations on proposed City <br />Code amendments, Comprehensive <br />Plan amendments, and other long <br />range planning documents that deal <br />with parks, trails, and open space. <br /> Identify potential projects for 2018. <br />
