Nicole, The Unofficial would like to formally request permission from the City Council to host our 3rd annual Classic Car show. The event will take place on Sunday August 4th from 10am – 2pm in the north parking lot of the property at 3701 Stinson Blvd (The Unofficial). This is different from years past because this event typically followed our Customer Appreciation part y by only one week. This year they are separated by 5 weeks. The event will be open to any make or model car manufactured before 1964. The event will be officiated by The Spartans Car Club to ensure all safety protocols are followed. Unofficial staff will be present to ensure that the drivers obey local laws and ordinances, and operate their vehicles in a manner that is respectful to our neighbors. There will be a DJ playing music from the 50’s. The Unofficial will have an outdoor seating area next to 2 tables set up to sell food and beverage including strong beer. Staff of the unofficial will be serving the alcohol, and will ensure that alcohol is being served responsibly, and that anyone wishing to purchase .alcohol is over 21 years of age. Last year there were 110 cars that participated in the show. We expect a similar turn out this year. We have garbage recep- tacles placed throughout to keep trash contained. We will also have Porta patty’s and hand wash stations appropriate to accommodate the extra bodies expected to attend. The show ends at 2pm. The DJ will cease amplified music at this time. By 3pm we expect the cars to vacate. And we will have all of the trash receptacles cleared and the parking lot cleaned and cleared and back to normal.
