1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 APRIL 23, 2019 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Randle and Stille. <br />16 Absent: None <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey and Parks Commission Chair Erin Jordahl Redlin <br />18 <br />19 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />20 ITEMS. <br />21 <br />22 I. APPROVAL OF APRIL 23, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />23 <br />24 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />25 Council Meeting Agenda of April 23, 2019 as presented. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />28 <br />29 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />30 <br />31 A. Students in Government Presentation <br />32 <br />33 This item was delayed in the meeting until all students were present. <br />34 <br />35 City Manager Casey invited the students to approach the podium. A photograph of the students <br />36 was shown. A special thank you was given to Councilmember Stille for his assistance during the <br />J7 mock City Council Meeting and answering questions of the students. <br />38 <br />39 Stuart Scamehorn provided some comments on his experience. He also has participated twice in <br />40 the program. <br />41 <br />42 Gabby Herlofsky noted this was her second time participating in the program. <br />43 <br />44 Councilmember Stille stated the program helped him and he enjoyed his participation. The <br />45 students debated four different issues. <br />46 <br />47 Mayor Faust stated this is the third Student in Government Meeting and the second one this <br />48 school year. He is impressed with the students and their willingness to learn. <br />49 <br />
