ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />MAY 28, 2019 3 <br />4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br />6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br />8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br />10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br />12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br />14 <br />Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson and Stille. 15 <br />Absent: Councilmember Randle 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Salo Park Concert Committee Member Marilyn Jenson, 17 <br />Chamber of Commerce Boardmember Jan Fillmore, West Area Engineer – MNDOT 18 <br />Aaron Tag, City Engineer Justin Messner and Finance Director Shelly Rueckert. 19 <br />20 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 21 <br />ITEMS. 22 <br />23 <br />I.APPROVAL OF MAY 28, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 24 <br />25 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City 26 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of May 28, 2019 as presented. 27 <br />28 <br />Motion carried 4-0. 29 <br />30 <br />II.PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 31 <br />32 <br />A.2019 Salo Park Concert Series.33 <br />34 <br />Ms. Marilyn Jenson, Salo Park Concert Committee Member, presented the 2019 Salo Park 35 <br />Concert Schedule. The concerts are free and held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. 36 <br />More information can be found on the website. 37 <br />June 20 – Swing Cats 38 <br />June 27 – The Backyard Band 39 <br />July 11 – Vinyl Revival 40 <br />July 18 – The Fairlanes 41 <br />July 25 – Vinnie Rose 42 <br />August 1 – Everett Smithson Band 43 <br />August 8 – Fridley City Band Ensemble – Old Time Band 44 <br />August 15 – Ecuador Manta 45 <br />46 <br />Ms. Jenson also thanked this year’s sponsors. In case of rain the concerts are moved to the 47 <br />Community Center. Mayor Faust noted these concerts are paid for through private donations. 48 <br />49 <br />1
