ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 MAY 28, 2019 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson and Stille. <br />16 Absent: Councilmember Randle <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Salo Park Concert Committee Member Marilyn Jenson, <br />18 Chamber of Commerce Boardmember Jan Fillmore, West Area Engineer — MNDOT <br />19 Aaron Tag, City Engineer Justin Messner and Finance Director Shelly Rueckert. <br />20 <br />21 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />22 ITEMS. <br />23 <br />24 I. APPROVAL OF MAY 28, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />25 <br />26 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />27 Council Meeting Agenda of May 28, 2019 as presented. <br />28 <br />29 Motion carried 4-0. <br />30 <br />31 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />32 <br />33 A. 2019 Salo Park Concert Series. <br />34 <br />35 Ms. Marilyn Jenson, Salo Park Concert Committee Member, presented the 2019 Salo Park <br />36 Concert Schedule. The concerts are free and held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 — 8:00 p.m. <br />37 More information can be found on the website. <br />38 June 20 — Swing Cats <br />39 June 27 — The Backyard Band <br />40 July 11 — Vinyl Revival <br />41 July 18 — The Fairlanes <br />42 July 25 — Vinnie Rose <br />43 August 1 — Everett Smithson Band <br />44 August 8 — Fridley City Band Ensemble — Old Time Band <br />45 August 15 — Ecuador Manta <br />46 <br />47 Ms. Jenson also thanked this year's sponsors. In case of rain the concerts are moved to the <br />48 Community Center. Mayor Faust noted these concerts are paid for through private donations. <br />49 <br />
