ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 19-057 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS RECEIVED <br />FOR THE INDUSTRIAL PARK FLOOD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT REBID <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvements as shown on the plan for the flood <br />reduction improvements within the industrial park, located south of County Road C (29th <br />Avenue NE) and east of Highway 88, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br /> Contractor <br />Total Bid <br />Alternate #1 <br />Total Bid <br />Alternate #2 <br /> <br />1 US SiteWork, Inc. $414,754.00 $473,677.50 <br />2 Max Steiner, Inc. $448,205.74 $494,042.83 <br />3 Park Construction Company $446,718.50 $500,118.00 <br />4 Rachel Contracting, Inc. $472,796.00 $547,805.00 <br />5 Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $493,636.00 $533,886.00 <br />6 Veit & Company, Inc. $598,089.00 $642,761.00 <br />7 G Urban Companies $720,500.20 $869,950.20 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Staff is recommending that the bids be rejected on the Industrial Park Flood <br />Improvement Project Rebid since the bid exceeded the estimate, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that the <br />bids received are hereby rejected, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Engineer, WSB, is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of July, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________ <br /> Jerome O.
