Home Safety Surveys <br />New Program –started in 2016 <br />By Appointment –30 to 45 minutes <br />Home safety survey –Fire Safety, CO, Slips\Trips\Fall Concerns <br />Check smoke alarms for date and function <br />7 to 10 year life span on smoke alarms <br />Install up to three 10 year smoke alarms –no battery changes, end of life signal <br />Does not apply to rental living spaces i.e. apartments <br />Partnership with the American Red Cross for smoke alarms <br />Check CO alarm for date and function <br />Looking to possibly providing CO alarms also –2 recent surveys had no CO alarm <br />File of Life Program <br />(Not a Red Cross Program) <br />Program that provides crucial medical information to responders <br />Refrigerator magnet with updatable form inside –medications, <br />medical conditions, hospital, emergency contact information <br />Information stays in your home –we know to look for the magnet on <br />the fridge. <br />2
