CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />3 JULY 21, 1998 <br />4 I. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL/OPENING REMARKS. <br />5 The meeting was called to order at 8:05 PM. <br />6 Present: Commissioners Paul Louiselle, Tim Morris, Joanne Kosciolek, Andrea <br />7 Lambrecht, Don Siggelkow, Carol Jindra, Douglas Koehntop. <br />8 Absent: Representative from School Board, Kathie Wolff. <br />9 Also present: Mayor Clarence Ranallo, City Councilmembers George Marks, Dennis <br />10 Cavanaugh; City Manager Michael Mornson; Public Works Director Jay <br />11 — Hartman; Representatives from Community Services (George Wagner); <br />12 Sports Boosters (Jan Jensen); Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates, Inc. <br />13 City Manager Mornson introduced himself and thanked everyone for taking time from <br />14 their busy schedules to form the Parks Commission, an advisory group. Mayor Ranallo <br />15 also thanked everyone for participating. <br />II. REVIEW ORDINANCE AND BY-LAWS. <br />17 Mornson reviewed the ordinance establishing the Parks Commission and the By -Laws. <br />18 He stressed that all reports and requests must be submitted to and approved by the City <br />19 Council. <br />20 III. APPOINT CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR. <br />21 Motion by Koehntop, second by Louiselle to nominate Jindra as Chair of the Parks <br />22 Commission. <br />23 Motion carried unanimously. <br />24 Motion by Morris second by Lambrecht to nominate Koehntop as Vice Chair of the <br />25 Parks Commission. <br />26 Motion carried unanimously. <br />27 IV. SECRETARY FOR COMMISSION MEETING MINUTE TAKING. <br />28 Mornson stated that a Recording Secretary will take minutes for future Commission <br />29 meetings. <br />�0 V. CITY STAFF INPUT. <br />Mornson indicated that Hartman will be the City liaison for the Parks Commission and <br />32 other staff and/or consultants may attend future meetings. <br />
