landscape architecture
Memo
Date: November 10, 2005
To: Jay Hartment, City of St. Anthony
From: Jean Garbarini, Close Landscape Architecture
Re: Emerald Park Work Scope
Following is a summary of the scope that we discussed yesterday, and a schedule for the project. Please
let me know if you'd like to make any revisions.
Parks Commission Meeting December 12, 2005
This meeting will be a presentation by Close Landscape Architecture. Close will have the following
materials for presentation:
Up to two plan concepts for the layout of the park.
Supporting graphics.to describe key features in the park.
(Jay — we talked about a cost estimate here, but I'm having second thoughts and think it might be.more
appropriate to present the cost estimate once we have a final plan concept selected.) I will be sure to run
the estimate by you and the commission prior to the neighborhood Open House.
Final Plan Presentation City Council Meeting January, 2006
Close Landscape Architecture will present the final plan, with comments from the open house incorporated
if necessary. Supporting graphics will also be presented along with a cost estimate.
Open House February/March, 2006
This open house will be an opportunity to present the preferred plan to the neighborhood for comment.
Close Landscape Architecture will give a formal presentation to the neighborhood at the beginning of the
open house, and will take comments and questions. There will be -additional opportunities for the
neighborhood to have discussions with CLA staff and Park Commission members after the presentation.
Close will have the following materials for presentation:
One preferred plan concept plan — a colored/rendered plan
Supporting graphic materials such as sections, elevations, photographic images, etc.
Itemized cost estimate
