Specific Goals include: <br />•Expand environmental education offered to include climate change curriculum for high <br />school students. <br />•Increase the amount of inquiry-based instruction provided. <br />•Draw from community members with interest and expertise in environmental education and <br />stewardship. <br />•Provide opportunities for students to lead environmental stewardship projects. <br />Project selection will be determined by Project Stakeholders working in partnership with Patience <br />Caso, Hennepin County program owner. Applications describing objectives, outreach, <br />implementation, and maintenance plans will be evaluated against selection criteria that includes: <br />•Projects must be executed within the grant timeline. <br />•Projects pertaining to school or city property have appropriate approvals. <br />•Projects focus on at least one of two Green Partner topics: Protecting Land / Water / Habitat, <br />and Using Resources Wisely.
