CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 19-064 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PRELIMINARY 2020 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and <br />Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2020 certified property tax levy and operating budget; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public meeting on March 26th reviewing key financial issues and <br />budgeting goals which invited public input on the budget process; and June 3rd work <br />session reviewing existing infrastructure improvement schedule and 2020 Debt Levy; and <br />an August 5th work session to review revised infrastructure improvement schedule and <br />Proposed 2020 Budget and Property Tax Levy <br />WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $477,313 based on sufficient funds; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2020 property tax levy and general <br />operation budget at the August 27, 2019, City Council meeting; and <br />the preliminary tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current <br />law is modified; and <br />the City Council will determine a final property tax levy and budget at the <br />Tuesday, December 10, 2019, public hearing held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The preliminary 2020 Property Tax Levy is: <br />General Operating Levy <br />Capital Improvement Project Levy <br />Road Improvement Levy <br />Lease Revenue Bonds <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy <br />Tax Abatement Levy <br />Building Improvement Levy <br />2) The preliminary 2020 General Operating Budget totals $7598,454 <br />Adopted this 10t day of September, 2019. <br />ATTEST: <br />Nicol Miller, City erk <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />$4,571,013 <br />$ 283,200 <br />$1,823,254 <br />$ 341,602 <br />$ 185,064 <br />$ 322,325 <br />$ 83,000 <br />$7,609,458 <br />(erorne O.
