Minutes of the St. Anthony Fire Fighters Relief Association Meeting of September, 2019 Meeting called to order at 18:59 Roll Call: 13/18 present, 5 deferred members. Reading of the Minutes: For the month of June and August 2019. President M.Deschneau asked for a motion to approve the minutes as posted. A motion to approve the minutes was given by M.Erickson and 2nd by S.Saravia: Motion passes unanimously. Reading of Reports and Minutes of the Board of Trustees Meetings: There is nothing to report at this time. Financial update for 2019: There is nothing to report at this time. Treasurer's Report: An ending balance of 10,749.98 in the SAFDRA checking, an ending balance of $5,240.60 in the savings account, and the special fund ended up with a balance of $67,943.89.Portfolio account $895.614.56 at the end of August 2019. Reports of Officers Communications: There is nothing to report at this time. Standing Committee Reports: There is nothing to report at this time. Budget and Fund Raising: The t shirts are for sale to the SAFRA members at the open house in October, T- shirts will be for sale to the general public. By-laws and compliance: A notice was posted 30 prior to change of benefits and all members were notified of increase of benefits to $3800.00.Discussion was held prior to voting for questions concerning the change in benefit and moving to the Minnesota Statewide Volunteer Firefighter Retirement Plan. Motion by M. Erickson and second by T.Evenson to vote. Vote was taken by ballet and it passed unanimously, 16 YES votes in favor and 0 NO votes. St Anthony City Council will need to approve.
