City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />October 22, 2019 <br />Page 5 <br />1 Councilmember Gray stated he attended the October 19tn Coffee with Council and the <br />2 Worksession on October 15tn <br />3 <br />4 Councilmember Randle stated he attended the October 15th Worksession. <br />5 <br />6 Councilmember Jenson stated he attended the Metro Cities Board of Directors meeting on <br />7 October 10tn and they approved the Metro Cities Legislative Policies that will be presented at the <br />8 annual meeting on November 14tn. He also indicated the Chair of the Met Council, Nora Slavic, <br />9 was there to discuss their strategic priorities coming up over the next year. He also participated <br />10 at the October 15tn Worksession as well as attended the October 19tn Coffee with Council. <br />11 <br />12 Mayor Faust stated he attended the October 15tn Worksession. He attended a swearing in of two <br />13 new Fire Fighters, Sam Fletcher and Evan Hoffler, on October 16tn at the City Council <br />14 Chambers. He stated this is a long and hard process and the City is fortunate to have 23 paid on- <br />15 call volunteers who come only when needed and 7 full time Fire Fighters. He indicated he also <br />16 attended the Regional Council of Mayors on October 21 St and talked extensively about affordable <br />17 housing. <br />18 <br />19 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />20 <br />21 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />22 are not on the regular agenda. <br />23 <br />24 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />25 <br />26 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />27 <br />28 Councilmember Stille indicated Saturday, October 26tn is Tech dump along with Fix It Clinic. <br />29 <br />30 X.
