<br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting Date: December 10, 2019 <br /> <br /> Resolution- a resolution approving the 2020 Appointments and Appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the <br />Parks and Environmental Commission. <br /> <br />OVERVIEW: <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution approving the 2020 appointments and appointing the chair and <br />vice chair to the parks and environmental commission. <br /> <br />Parks and Environmental Commission application information was advertised in the Fall 2019 Village <br />Notes and on the City’s website. There are three vacancies. Seventeen (17) applications were received and <br />all were invited to interview with the Mayor and Council on December 4, 2019. <br /> <br />The mayor and city council individually chose their top three candidates based on their responses. The <br />Mayor and city council then agreed by consensus on appointing James Niemi, Patrick Penner and Renee <br />Reed for a three year appointment along Therese Bellinger as Chair and Jessica Rengstorf as Vice Chair. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />191
