<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />The Housing and Redevelopment Authority is comprised of the Mayor and four City Council <br />members serving as the Board. The H.R.A. oversees all commercial and residential <br />redevelopment activities in the community. <br /> <br />RECYCLING <br />The City’s recycling program promotes recycling efforts through-out the City. The fund receives <br />grants from both Hennepin and Ramsey Counties to support these efforts <br /> <br />FORFEITURE <br />The Forfeiture Fund covers the costs associated with drug and alcohol forfeitures of personal <br />property. This account is funded by the sale of DWI and drug related vehicle forfeitures. State <br />law governs and restricts the use of these funds to DWI/Drug related enforcement activities. <br /> <br />FIRE EDUCATION/TRAINING <br />The Fire Education & Training Fund is an education program that is designed to provide training <br />to Police and Fire personnel. The Fund allows the City to use its existing trained Fire personnel <br />to provide education services for both in-house and outside organizations. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY CENTER <br />The Community Center Fund purpose is to account for the costs to operate and maintain the <br />Community Center building at 3301 Silver Lake Road. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS <br /> <br />37
