CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 20-020 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota §203B.121, subd. 1; BALLOT BOARDS; establishment; applicable <br />laws; states that the governing body of each municipality with the responsibility <br />to accept and reject absentee ballots must, establish a ballot board; and <br />WHEREAS, members of the ballot boards may include election judges trained in the handling <br />of absentee ballots and city clerks who have received training in the processing <br />and counting absentee ballots; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony authorizes staff members who have received training as <br />election judges to serve on the Absentee Ballot Board. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />Village hereby establishes an Absentee Ballot Board. <br />Adopted this 11th day of February 2020. <br />___________________________________ <br />Randy Stille, Mayor <br />ATTEST: __________________________________ <br />Nicole Miller, City Clerk <br />Reviewed for Administration: ___________________________________ <br />Mark Casey, City Manager
