<br />2019 Annual Report • Administration • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />54 <br /> <br />It was an active year for the Planning Commission, which welcomed 2 new members to the <br />Commission in 2019, as well as a new position of Student Liaison. The Commission consists of <br />7 regular members who serve 3-year terms as appointed by the City Council. Members will <br />often re-apply to serve additional terms, although there is always an engaged list of new <br />applicants seeking appointment. In the upcoming 2020 year, the Commission will welcome 2 <br />new members again. It should be another active year, with several implementation projects on <br />the schedule upon final adoption of the new 2040 Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />IN SUMMARY <br />2019 was another productive year! The City continued its focus on maintaining and <br />enhancing the community while strategically investing in the future. The City made <br />progress on a number of projects, strengthened and developed new partnerships and <br />programs, and continued to enhance the services that make St. Anthony a great place to live, <br />to work and to do business. This report highlighted many of these outstanding efforts.
