24 St. Anthony - Administration <br /> <br /> <br />(J) Any member of the Parks and Environmental Commission who shall feel that he or she has a conflict <br />of interest on any matter that is before the Parks and Environmental Commission shall voluntarily excuse <br />himself or herself, vacate his or her seat, and refrain from discussing and voting on item(s) in question. <br /> <br />(K) Any Parks and Environmental Commissioner who has advanced knowledge that he or she will not <br />be able to attend a scheduled meeting of the Parks and Environmental Commission, shall notify the <br />Public Works Director at the earliest possible opportunity and, in any event, prior to 3:30 p.m. on the <br />date of the meeting. The Public Works Director shall notify the Chair of the Parks and Environmental <br />Commission in the event that the projected absences will produce a lack of quorum. <br /> <br />(L) The Vice Chair shall succeed the Chair if he or she vacates his or her office before his or her term is <br />completed; the Vice Chair to serve the unexpired term of the vacated office. A new Vice Chair shall be <br />elected at the next regular meeting. <br /> <br /> (M) The bylaws may be amended at any meeting of the Parks and Environmental Commission by a <br />quorum of the Parks and Environmental Commission, provided that notice of the proposed amendment <br />be given to each member in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting. In addition, any amendment <br />to the Parks and Environmental Commission bylaws must be approved by the City Council and School <br />Board. <br />(1993 Code, § 306.07) <br /> <br /> <br />§ 32.27 CITY COUNCIL ACTION WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION OF THE PARKS AND <br />ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION. <br /> <br />If a matter is referred to the Parks and Environmental Commission and if no recommendation is <br />transmitted by the Parks and Environmental Commission to the City Council after referral to the Parks <br />and Environmental Commission, the City Council make take action without the recommendation. <br />(1993 Code, § 306.08) <br /> <br /> <br />§ 32.28 REQUESTS. <br /> <br />All requests shall be submitted to the Planning Commission for review before the request is submitted to <br />the City Council. <br />(1993 Code, § 306.09) <br /> <br /> <br />§ 32.29 STAFF LIAISON. <br /> <br />The Public Works Director or designee will be the staff liaison to the Parks Commission. <br />(1993 Code, § 306.10) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
