2020 Strategic Plan • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />Telling the Story | 12 <br />TELLING THE STORY <br />Janine Hill, Communications Administrator and Erik Juhl, Web Coordinator, with the City of <br />Bloomington, were invited to present information to the group on their city’s communication <br />approach. Below are highlights of the presentation: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br />St. Anthony is focused on delivering relevant, informative and timely communications to engage <br />with our residents, businesses, and partners. In 2019, we added a part-time Communications <br />Coordinator that we share with the St. Anthony-New Brighton School District to enhance our <br />communications delivery. <br />This year’s presenters from the City of Bloomington shared examples of their internal and external <br />communications as well as initiatives to help find the stories to share. Some key takeaways from <br />the presenters: <br /> Encourage employees to share stories and help produce external communications <br /> Highlight staff and their accomplishments <br /> Leverage social media as a tool to engage more residents <br /> Share stories of community members <br /> Build relationships with other organizations and partner to share stories
