March 25th, 2020 <br /> <br />Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />3301 Silver Lake Road <br />Saint Anthony MN 55418 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Council Members: <br /> <br />We are writing to request a permit to keep 6 chickens at our house, 3511 Harding Street N.E. <br />Attached is a drawing of our property with the planned location of the chicken coop and run. <br /> <br />The coop will be a raised building approximately 4 by 6 feet in size and 4 feet tall. It will also <br />include a chicken run (a fenced in area for the chickens to get out during the day) that will be <br />approximately 6 by 12 feet and 6 feet tall. All this will be fenced off with chicken wire to <br />eliminate predators. We plan to have only egg laying chickens and our intent is to share eggs <br />with our neighbors who have shown excitement about our keeping chickens in the backyard. <br />The chicken coop will be placed on the north side of our garage, which will hide the chicken <br />coop from our neighbors to the south. Our neighbor to the north has a privacy fence and will <br />not see the coop or run.
