CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 20-038 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID <br />FOR THE 2020 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above -referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Total Base Bid <br />1 RL Larson Excavating, Inc. $2,430,797.00 <br />2 Northwest Asphalt, Inc. $2,546,943.55 <br />3 Meyer Contracting, Inc. $2,716,151.75 <br />4 Lametti & Sons, Inc. $3,300,811.50 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that RL Larson Excavating, Inc. of St. Cloud, MN is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with RL Larson Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $2,430,797.00 in the name <br />of the City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the <br />above -referenced project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, WSB, is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br />Adopted this 14th day of April, 2020. <br />ATTEST: <br />Nicole filler, City lerk <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />
