Our mission is to be a progressive and welcoming
Village that is walkable, sustainable and safe
3301 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, MN 55418 612‐782‐3301 | www.savmn.com

F. Rice Creek Watershed District Grant for the Silver Lake Road flood risk
reduction project
I. Metropolitan Council Inflow and Infiltration Grant
Partnerships and Colleagues: The City partners with local businesses, civic organizations,
School District 282, Community Services and the Chamber of Commerce to provide a variety of
community safety and education programs. The City also has formed partnerships with
colleagues in other jurisdictions. These relationships include providing financial and human
resource services to the Middle Mississippi Water Management Organization, a fuel purchasing
arrangement with the City of New Brighton, utility billing services to the City of Birchwood
Village and police services to the City of Lauderdale. Lastly the City partners with County
infrastructure projects when opportunity arises. A recent example would be the matching the
Silver Lake Road flood mitigation project with the Ramsey County’s plan to mill and over lay
Silver Lake Road.

Acknowledgements:
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to the Mayor and the City Council. Their
unfailing support for maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in the management
of the City of St. Anthony’s finances results in a fiscally sustainable City government.

Respectfully submitted,

_________________________________ _________________________________
Mark Casey Shelly Rueckert
City Manager Finance Director

7
