CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 20-058 <br />A RESOLUTION MODIFYING HOLIDAYS OBSERVED BY THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />• WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony currently has 12 observed holidays in which City Hall is <br />closed: <br />• New Year's Day — January 1 <br />• Martin Luther King Day Observed — January <br />• President's Day Observed — February <br />• Good Friday Observed — March/April <br />• Memorial Day Observed — May <br />• Independence Day — July 4 <br />• Labor Day Observed — September <br />• Columbus Day Observed — October <br />• Veteran's Day — November 11 <br />• Thanksgiving Day Observed — November <br />• Friday following Thanksgiving — November <br />• Christmas Day — December 25 <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to not formally recognize Good Friday and have City Hall <br />open; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to not formally recognize Columbus Day and have City <br />Hall open; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony wishes to formally recognize Juneteenth and have City Hall <br />closed on June 19th; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village <br />hereby modifies the observed holidays as stated above. <br />Adopted this 14th day of July, 2020. <br />ATTEST: <br />Nicoll Miller, City'C <br />Review for Administration: <br />Randy Still, ayor <br />Mark Casey, City Mana'er <br />
