City Council Regular Meeting Minutes July 14, 2020 Page 14 Councilmember Jenson stated he attended the work session as well and eight items were 1 discussed with no decisions being made. On July 10th he attended the Ramsey County Local 2 League of Governments meeting where there was discussion about the CARES Act program. 3 4 Councilmember Walker stated on June 25th he was recorded for the program City Speaks for 5 CTV. The person who interviewed him was Dan Healy and they talked about recent racial 6 tension in the Country in light of the death of George Floyd. Since that time, he has been in 7 conversations with a lot of residents in person, at a distance, discussing the same matters. He 8 also attended the gathering for Philando Castile but was not there for the march. 9 10 Mayor Stille stated he attended the work session where the budget was discussed. On July 13th, 11 he went to the Regional Council of Mayor meeting and the topic was learning and School 12 Districts and how they are coping with COVID and distance learning. He also attended the 13 Mississippi Water Management Organization Board of Director meeting today. 14 15 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 16 17 Mayor Stille invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 18 are not on the regular agenda. 19 20 City Manager Casey indicated he received two emails from the following residents: 21 22 • Ms. Marie Schuster, 3409 31st Avenue NE 23 • Mr. Rick Schuster, 3409 31st Avenue NE 24 25 IX.
