July 7, 2020 <br /> <br />St Anthony Village City Council <br />3301 Silver Lake Road <br />St. Anthony Village, MN 55418 <br /> <br />Re: Request for Permit to house Chickens <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Mayor and Council Member, <br /> <br />I am writing to request a permit to keep four female chickens on our property located <br />at 3629 Coolidge St NE. I have attached a drawing of our back yard which includes the <br />placement of the coop. <br /> <br />Our lot is approximately 0.23 acres, and we plan to house the chickens in a small coop <br />with an enclosed run (approximately 6x15) in the southeast corner of the property. <br /> <br />This corner is relatively isolated from our neighbors, with pine trees directly to the <br />south of it, an 8 foot fence shielding the neighbors directly to our east, the trees in our <br />yard and our garden hide it from view of the neighbors to the north of us, so we think it <br />will be minimally noticeable. We will not keep any roosters so noise will also be kept to <br />a minimum.
