City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />July 14, 2020 <br />Page 14 <br />1 Councilmember Jenson stated he attended the work session as well and eight items were <br />2 discussed with no decisions being made. On July 10th he attended the Ramsey County Local <br />3 League of Governments meeting where there was discussion about the CARES Act program. <br />4 <br />5 Councilmember Walker stated on June 25th he was recorded for the program City Speaks for <br />6 CTV. The person who interviewed him was Dan Healy and they talked about recent racial <br />7 tension in the Country in light of the death of George Floyd. Since that time, he has been in <br />8 conversations with a lot of residents in person, at a distance, discussing the same matters. He <br />9 also attended the gathering for Philando Castile but was not there for the march. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Stille stated he attended the work session where the budget was discussed. On July 13th, <br />12 he went to the Regional Council of Mayor meeting and the topic was learning and School <br />13 Districts and how they are coping with COVID and distance learning. He also attended the <br />14 Mississippi Water Management Organization Board of Director meeting today. <br />15 <br />16 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Stille invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />19 are not on the regular agenda. <br />20 <br />21 City Manager Casey indicated he received two emails from the following residents: <br />22 <br />23 • Ms. Marie Schuster, 3409 31 St Avenue NE <br />24 • Mr. Rick Schuster, 3409 31 St Avenue NE <br />25 <br />26 IX.
