GRANTS/DONATIONS – PARTNERSHIPS <br />•Since 1999 to date: <br />City has been awarded $33,119,871 <br />Grants <br />Donations from local businesses/residents <br />$3,586 per resident (Based on population of 9,234) <br />•Partnerships: <br />City of Birchwood Village <br />2020 CARES ACT FUNDING <br />Provides funds for necessary expenditures incurred due to the public <br />health emergency with respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019. <br />•Personal protective equipment, sanitizers, and similar supplies <br />•Modifications to facilities for social distancing / protective barriers <br />•Modifications to facilities HVAC systems to provide an ionization process to <br />which eliminates viruses from the air exchange <br />•New Technologies to provide for contact free processing licenses & permits and <br />curb side pick up at Liquor stores <br />•Computer equipment to enable employee's greater efficiently in working remotely <br />•Employment costs incurred to reduce the employee’s exposure to COVID-19 <br />•First responder costs in a COVID-19 environment <br />33
