ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 20-067 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION FOR ORDINANCE 2020-02 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony has adopted the above referenced ordinance <br />concerning Animal Control; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subdivision 4 allows publication by title and summary in the <br />case of lengthy ordinances or those containing maps or charts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the public of the intent <br />of Ordinance 2020-02. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: the following summary of Ordinance 2020-02 shall be <br />published in the official paper in lieu of the entire ordinance. <br /> <br />SUMMARY PUBLICATION <br /> <br />Ordinance 2020-02 <br />An Ordinance Amending Multiple Sections of Chapter 91 of the Animal Control Ordinance; <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of St. Anthony adopted Ordinance 2020-02 on September 8, 2020, amending <br />multiple sections of Chapter 91 of the Animal Control Ordinance. <br /> <br />The amended ordinance elements include: <br /> <br />• Repeal the prohibition of dangerous dogs. <br />• Incorporation of Minnesota Statutes §347.50 through §347.565 Regarding Dangerous and Potentially <br />Dangerous Dogs <br />• Addition of registration requirements and registration fees for dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs. <br /> <br />The full Ordinance is available for review at City Hall, St. Anthony City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road, St. <br />Anthony, MN 55418. <br />Adopted this 8th day of September 2020. <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br /> Randy Stille, Mayor <br />ATTEST: _________________________ <br /> Nicole Miller, City Clerk <br /> <br />Reviewed for administration: _________________________________ <br /> Charlie Yunker, Interim City Manager <br />107
